The Anchors

Las anclas

Passing the Moscarter lighthouse towards Cala San Vicente, between Punta des Gat and Cala den Serra, is the anchor diving spot, which takes its name from the numerous anchors found on the bottom. At this point we anchor on a shallow bottom near a gorge that leads to a series of inlets with high walls and a sandy bottom where it is common to find schools of barracudas and abundant benthic life on the walls. Upon reaching the last cove with a maximum depth of 24 meters, experienced divers can descend along a cliff falling to 40 meters, where there are some large admiral anchors with signs of having been submerged for a long time.
